1. Get rid of standing water around your house
2. For items like kiddie pools, pet dishes and bird baths, be sure to change the water 1-2 times per week
3. Be sure to use products only labeled for mosquito control
4. Wear mosquito repellant when outdoors
5. Consider having your yard treated for mosquitos
